Sam Bankman-Fried & Adult Development Theory

Source: The Washington Post

As an executive coach, I'm increasingly interested in adult development theory...how people make sense of their world and the behavioral patterns that correspond, placing all of us somewhere on the continuum...some more developed than others... So I was particularly intrigued by yesterday's WP opinion section that featured portions from Michael Lewis's new book about Sam Bankman-Fried who is awaiting trial on charges of securities fraud, wire fraud, and conspiracy. Here's the part of the yesterday's piece that really grabbed me: "He didn't mean to be rude. He didn't mean to create chaos in other people's lives. He was just moving through the world in the only way he knew how." Wonder where SBF falls on the continuum.
